Senior Selenium Test Lead - Python

Job Summary

The Senior Test Lead in python,selenium will be responsible for leading the testing activities using python and selenium for HCL. This role involves designing test strategies, creating test plans, and overseeing the implementation of test cases to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop test strategies and test plans for projects involving python and selenium.
2. Lead a team of test engineers in executing test cases and reporting test results.
3. Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely and quality delivery of software products.
4. Identify and report defects, and work with cross functional teams to resolve them.
5. Automate test cases using python and selenium to improve testing efficiency.
6. Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies in the python and selenium ecosystem.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in python programming language for test automation.
2. Strong experience in using selenium webdriver for automating web application testing.
3. Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as pytest or robot framework.
4. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a testing team.

Other Requirements

1.ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Advanced Level is a plus.

Minimum Salary (US):  75000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
