Senior Selenium Test Lead - Cucumber, Java

Job Summary

Core Skills:

  • Automation: Selenium, Cucumber, QTP, HCL OneTest
  • Scripting/Tech: Java, JavaScript, CI/CD, DevOps fundamentals  
  • Manual testing, cross‑browser testing, Agile (Jira) experience
  • Unix basics, LDAP/SMTP exposure  
  • Database primarily SQL
  • Application monitoring, monitor logs, application health. Basically complete application monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual + automation testing with high accuracy
  • Build & enhance automation scripts and frameworks
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and systematically
  • Work effectively with global teams across time zones
  • Communicate clearly, maintain strong customer focus, and support product quality goals

  • Quick learner with strong troubleshooting ability

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the testing team in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks using cucumber, selenium, and java.
2. Develop and execute test scripts and scenarios to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
3. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
4. Monitor testing progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on testing best practices and methodologies.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in test automation tools such as cucumber, selenium, and java.
2. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
3. Experience in creating and implementing test automation frameworks.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced team environment.
6. Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in test automation or software testing are a plus.
