Senior Selenium Test Lead - Cucumber, Java
Greater London, England

Job Summary

specializing in automation frameworks, API testing, and
payments systems (ISO20022, SWIFT, SEPA, CHAPS). Proven expertise
in Java-based test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and database validation.
Skilled at leading QA teams (10+ members), improving test coverage, and
accelerating release cycles. Building proficiency in AI-powered tools and
Playwright to enhance and modernize testing practices

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the testing team in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks using cucumber, selenium, and java.
2. Develop and execute test scripts and scenarios to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
3. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
4. Monitor testing progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on testing best practices and methodologies.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in test automation tools such as cucumber, selenium, and java.
2. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
3. Experience in creating and implementing test automation frameworks.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced team environment.
6. Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in test automation or software testing are a plus.
