Senior Solution Architect
Amsterdam, Noord-Holland

Job Summary

To define solution architecture for complex business requirements and established standards in line with the defined future state enterprise IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience:12–18+ years in IT, with significant experience in enterprise architecture roles.Strong domain expertise in Order ManagementProven experience in leading large-scale transformations (cloud, microservices, legacy modernization).Hands-on experience with OMS platforms (e.g., Sterling OMS, Manhattan, SAP OMS, or custom solutions).Deep understanding of integration architectures (API gateways, ESB, event streaming like Kafka).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architecture patterns.Strong knowledge of data architecture, security, and compliance. 
Preferred Skills:Experience with event-driven architecture & real-time order orchestrationKnowledge of eCommerce ecosystems and omnichannel fulfillmentFamiliarity with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworksStrong stakeholder management and leadership skillsStrong experience of end-to-end retail & Supply Chain ProcessExperience in B2C and B2B business ModelWorked with Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Walmart, or similar sized retailers or with home/home furnishing retailersHas prior experience with Domain Driven Design, API First Design, 

Technical Skills (Must‑Have):Strong background in Java / Spring Boot or .NET Core / Node.js.Experience with microservices, REST APIs, event‑driven architectures.Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP.CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, monitoring & observability tools.Exposure to retail platforms (e‑commerce, supply chain, order management).
