Role Overview
The FP&A Senior Analyst plays a key role in financial planning, analysis, and strategic support. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights, driving forecasting accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to improve financial performance and support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial models for planning and projections
- Monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
2. Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue, cost, margins, and profitability
- Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance
3. Business Partnering
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, HR)
- Provide financial guidance and support to business stakeholders
- Translate complex financial data into clear business insights
4. Strategic Support
- Support strategic planning and business initiatives
- Perform scenario analysis, forecasting, and sensitivity modeling
- Evaluate business cases, investments, and cost optimization initiatives
5. Process Improvement & Automation
- Drive enhancements in reporting processes and financial models
- Automate reports using Excel, Power BI, or other tools
- Improve data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
6. Governance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and internal controls
- Support audits and ensure integrity of financial data
- Maintain documentation of financial processes
Skill Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA / CA / CMA / CFA preferred
Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
- Experience in handling end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycles
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, macros preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
