Job Summary : Job Description: Desktop & Mobility Architect (Design & Engineering) – Microsoft Intune Position Title: Desktop & Mobility Architect (Design & Engineering) Experience: 10+ Years Location: Flexible/Hybrid Function: IT Infrastructure, End User Computing (EUC), Mobility & Modern Workplace Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Desktop & Mobility Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, and Modern Workplace Technologies. The architect will be responsible for designing, engineering, and governing enterprise endpoint management solutions, driving workplace transformation initiatives, and ensuring secure, scalable, and user-centric device management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure AD/Entra ID, Autopilot, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), and Endpoint Security, coupled with strong architecture and stakeholder management capabilities. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design • Design enterprise-scale endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune and Modern Workplace technologies. • Define architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices for endpoint management. • Develop roadmap and strategy for endpoint modernization and cloud-first workplace solutions. • Create high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD). • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives. Engineering & Implementation • Lead Intune implementation, migration, and transformation projects. • Design and implement: o Windows Autopilot o Azure AD/Entra ID Join o Hybrid Join o Co-Management with SCCM/MECM o Conditional Access Policies o Zero Trust Architecture • Build and manage device enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles, and application deployment strategies. • Engineer endpoint security configurations and compliance frameworks. Endpoint Management • Manage Windows 10/11 lifecycle and deployment strategies. • Administer macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android Enterprise devices. • Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM). • Design application packaging and deployment processes. • Optimize endpoint performance, security, and user experience. Security & Compliance • Implement endpoint security controls leveraging: o Microsoft Defender for Endpoint o Conditional Access o BitLocker o Windows Hello for Business o Endpoint Privilege Management • Support Zero Trust security initiatives. • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements. • Conduct security assessments and architecture reviews. Automation & Innovation • Develop automation solutions using: o PowerShell o Graph API o Azure Automation • Build monitoring, reporting, and dashboard solutions. • Drive process standardization and operational excellence.
