Senior Support Engineer

Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities:


1. Application production support in areas of incident management, monitoring, and request fulfillment.
2. Experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware application support, troubleshooting, application maintenance, monitoring, and build/deployment activities.
3. Production/application support of Java J2EE-based applications in Linux platforms.
4. Exposure to web servers such as Tomcat, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
5. Work with partner teams and peers to meet SLA requirements.
6. Experience with Linux administration, including system monitoring and basic networking.
7. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, ITRS Geneos Console, or similar tools.
8. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as OpenShift for hosting Oracle applications.
9. Plan, install, build, patch, manage, configure, secure, and test WebLogic components.
10. Perform scheduled maintenance, patching, and security compliance activities; experience with Java monitoring tools.
11. Assist in planning and execution of disaster recovery (DR) failover testing.
12. Create and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual effort and repetitive tasks.
