Job Summary

  • Provide regular status updates to management.
  • Operate within laboratory environments and participate in engineering team activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and assignments.
  • Maintain laboratory environments, including routine maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Perform shipping, inventory management, and other laboratory administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather performance proof point data to highlight CPU relevance by executing routine to unique test requests and accurately record and/or prepare test results for local or remote data analysis.
  • Ad-Hoc testing and evaluation of new hardware for purchase considerations. Continuous communication with Marketing Demo Team, documenting features and capabilities desired in the new products.
  • Work with product Technical Marketing Engineers to develop new usage model concepts for performance notebooks in gaming, streaming, content creation, VR, and Esport segment
  • Load Windows and Linux operating systems, install assigned drivers and load standard applications

Assist team with platform prototype and POC HW build definition

Skill Requirements

  • Experienced with Creative software including:
  • Adobe photo and video software
  • Cad and Rendering tools.

Working from Mfr documentation able to start up a variety of non-standard internal prototype platforms, external supplier prototype platforms and internal early reference validation platforms

Hands-on PC builder. Reliably able to remove, modify and assemble PC hardware components (build your own PC)

Other Requirements

Ability to execute complex, detailed test procedures with just enough input from engineering

Customize Windows and Linux operating systems, define, find, and install assigned drivers, load and customize new and standard applications

Familiarity with remote PC access and operation – tools and techniques

Requirements

  • Support pathfinding activities targeting Intel product features. Define problems/data requirements and execute to plan
  • Assist with creating test plans in one or more environments
  • Demonstrate ability to create advanced video and creator test workloads
  • Can define/design and build basic Workstation/Desktop demonstration packages aimed at highlighting predetermined products/features
  • Willing to troubleshoot basic scripting and ability to read and modify batch files, python scripts in support of automation.
  • Recommends HW configurations targeting desired comparisons and/or to prove technical advantage
  • Executes job requests with little to no supervision

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
