Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled AWS Platform Support Engineer to manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and support cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform availability, performance, security, and operational excellence while providing L2/L3 production support for cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents, service requests, and problem management.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, networking, and performance-related issues.
Manage and support AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, ELB, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, and Auto Scaling.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
Manage backup, recovery, patching, and disaster recovery activities.
Monitor system health, availability, and performance using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance requirements.
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, networking, and security teams.
Automate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
Participate in on-call support and incident management activities.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience supporting AWS Cloud environments.
Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts.
Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
Knowledge of ITIL framework and support operations.
Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred)
