Job Summary

Optical Metrology – Technical Lead (Semiconductor) Summary: Experienced Technical Lead with 10+ years in optical metrology and experimental physics within semiconductor environments. Drives data-driven metrology solutions, automation, and scalable data pipelines to enable high-volume manufacturing and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Lead optical metrology development for semiconductor process control • Design and execute experiments using spectroscopy, ellipsometry, interferometry • Develop automated data pipelines for metrology data ingestion, processing, and analytics • Integrate tools with fab systems (SECS/GEM, MES) • Drive yield improvement using statistical analysis and ML models • Lead cross-functional teams and vendor collaborations Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physics, Experimental Physics, or related field • 10+ years in semiconductor metrology or process engineering • Strong expertise in optical characterization techniques • Experience in Python-based data automation and analytics • Knowledge of fab integration and equipment interfaces Tools & Technologies: • Optical: Scatterometry, Reflectometry, CD-SEM correlation • Data: Python, SQL, data pipelines, ML frameworks • Systems: MES, SPC, SECS/GEM integration

Key Responsibilities

1. Act As A Point Of Escalation For Complex And High-Priority Customer Issues By Utilizing Fab Services Expertise To Ensure Timely And Effective Resolution.
2. Conduct Root Cause Analysis For Critical Issues, Implementing Preventive Measures To Minimize Future Defects And Enhance Service Reliability.
3. Collaborate Closely With Product Management, Development, And Qa Teams To Provide Actionable Feedback On Product Improvements And Influence Design Decisions That Align With Customer Needs.
4. Provide Technical Assistance And Mentorship To Team Members In Resolving Customer Issues, Ensuring Knowledge Sharing And Skill Development Within The Team.
5. Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives For Support Processes And Workflows By Identifying Opportunities For Innovation, Automation, And Efficiency Enhancements Within Fab Services.

1. Strong Understanding Of Fab Services And Its Operational Processes.
2. Proficient In Root Cause Analysis Techniques And Preventive Measures.
3. Excellent Collaboration Skills With The Ability To Influence Product Design Based On Customer Feedback.
4. Solid Technical Troubleshooting Skills With A Focus On Customer Issue Resolution.
5. Advanced Proficiency In Identifying And Driving Process Improvement Initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
