Job Summary
The Release Lead is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and controlling the build, test, and deployment of releases across multiple applications and environments. This role ensures that releases are delivered on time, with high quality, and with minimal impact to business operations, while adhering to ITIL-based release and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Managing planning and scheduling of releases for multiple applications under supply chain domain.• Working with Business and QA team to plan the effort estimation for upcoming releases.Coordinating with stake holders, managing the risks, and resolving the issues.• Managing the end-to-end lifecycles of the releases including preparing environments for development, QA, and user acceptance testing.• Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.• Managing multiple environments (on-prem and cloud) for allocation patching and other application related activities.• Running the retro meetings with Operations, QA, development team to establish consistent release management process.Maintain and manage the KPI to ensure no deviation or miss the KPI’s planned as per SoW.
Skill Requirements
