Job Summary

The Senior System Tester specializes in testing storage systems and solutions, ensuring that software code adheres to the quality standards and meets client requirements. This role is crucial in enhancing software reliability and performance through meticulous test planning and execution, contributing significantly to project success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirements Specifications, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Storage System Functionalities.
2. Conduct Functionality Testing Of Storage Solutions In Accordance With The Test Plan And Specified Test Cases, Identifying And Documenting Defects In A Systematic Manner.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans For Storage Systems, Focusing On Test Strategy And Scope Based On Project Requirements.
4. Track And Analyze Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Metrics, Compiling And Publishing Detailed Progress Reports To Stakeholders.
5. Coordinate With Team Members For Discussions On Testing Processes And Document Findings, While Interacting With Clients To Provide Updates And Address Queries Related To Testing Activities.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of System Testing Principles, Particularly In The Context Of Storage Solutions.
2. Familiarity With Vmware, Linux, And Windows Environments As They Relate To System Testing.
3. Experience In Developing And Executing Test Cases Based On Functional Requirements.
4. Good Analytical Skills For Tracking Test Metrics And Interpreting Results.

Other Requirements

1. Certification In Istqb Foundation Level Is Optional But Valuable.
2. Familiarity With Backup And Recovery Processes In Storage Systems Is Beneficial.
