Job Summary

Responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) of Process Design Kits (PDKs) ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across design, verification, and documentation flows. Works closely with design, CAD, and customer teams to deliver high-quality, silicon-ready PDK releases.

12+ Years of Industry experience required

Key Responsibilities

Owns organizational strategy and ecosystem-level complexity
Expectations:

• Define QA vision, strategy, and roadmap across organization
• Drive organization-wide decision frameworks and independence
• Own executive-level customer engagement

 Key Skills & Activities:

• Build strong collaborative culture across teams and functions
• Handle escalations (team and customer) with structured solutions
• Align QA strategy with multi-node technology roadmap

Automation & Transformation:

• Drive enterprise-level automation platforms and digital transformation
• Lead AI-driven QA evolution (predictive quality, self-healing systems)

 Governance & Capability Building:

• Establish documentation governance, audits, and compliance frameworks
• Upskill and reskill engineers based on project needs and growth paths

Skill Requirements

Tools & Technologies

• Cadence / Synopsys Custom Tools
• Physical Verification: Calibre / ICV / Pegasus / PVS
• Scripting: Python/SKILL/Shell/Tcl/Ruby
• Automation & AI-driven QA frameworks
• Version Control / Build Systems: Git, CI/CD pipelines (optional based on project)
• AI & Automation: AI-assisted debugging, log analysis, and productivity tools

Other Requirements

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / VLSI or related field
• Relevant experience in PDK QA / CAD / Physical Verification / Design Automation

Nice to Have

• Experience in multi-node PDK environments (legacy + advanced nodes)
• Exposure to automation frameworks and scalable QA systems
• Prior customer-facing experience in PDK delivery
• AI/ML usage in QA workflows
