Senior Technical Architect - Teamcenter DEV, Server, Active Workspace

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Lead / Architect specializing in Teamcenter Integration for CATIA (TCIC) and Dassault CATIA to lead architecture, configuration, and customization initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in PLM integration, CAD data management, and end-to-end solution design for enterprise-scale implementations.

Key Responsibilities

 

 Solution Architecture & Design

  • Define end-to-end architecture for CATIA–Teamcenter (TCIC) integration
  • Lead solution design workshops with business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Design scalable, high-performance architectures for CAD data management and collaboration
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise PLM strategy, governance, and standards
  • Review and approve technical designs, customizations, and integrations

2. TCIC Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead implementation of Teamcenter Integration for CATIA (V5/V6/3DEXPERIENCE)
  • Configure TCIC modules, BOM management, structure synchronization, and CAD data workflows
  • Define and implement mapping rules between CATIA objects and Teamcenter data models
  • Manage multi-site and multi-CAD integration scenarios

3. CATIA Customization & Development

  • Drive customization using:
    • CATIA APIs (CAA / Automation / macros)
    • Java / C++ / scripting frameworks
  • Integrate CATIA with enterprise systems using:
    • SOA / REST APIs
    • Middleware tools
  • Implement enhancements related to:
    • CAD structure management
    • Design workflows
    • Data validation and automation

4. Teamcenter Customization & Integration

  • Lead Teamcenter configuration:
    • BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE)
    • Workflow design
    • Access control & data model
  • Develop and review:
    • ITK / SOA / RAC customizations
    • Integration with third-party tools (ERP, MES, etc.)
  • Ensure seamless CATIA–Teamcenter interoperability

5. Delivery Leadership

  • Lead offshore/on-site technical teams for TCIC and CATIA tracks
  • Provide technical guidance, solution governance, and quality assurance
  • Drive effort estimation, planning, and execution
  • Ensure zero defect leakage across development, testing, and UAT phases
  • Support deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities

6. Performance & Optimization

  • Analyze and optimize:
    • CAD data loading performance
    • Large assembly handling
    • BOM synchronization
  • Resolve complex issues related to:
    • Data inconsistencies
    • Integration failures
    • Performance bottlenecks

7. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with:
    • Business stakeholders
    • CAD users and engineering teams
    • Infrastructure and DevOps teams
  • Provide technical consulting and best practices
  • Act as primary escalation point for critical technical issues

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in:
    • Teamcenter (TCIC, BMIDE, ITK, SOA)
    • CATIA V5 / V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE
  • Experience in:
    • CAD-PLM integration
    • Product structure & BOM management
    • Engineering change management workflows
  • Good knowledge of:
    • Java / C++ / scripting
    • APIs and integration frameworks
    • Database concepts (Oracle / SQL Server)

Functional Knowledge

  • Understanding of:
    • Engineering design processes
    • Product lifecycle management (PLM)
    • Automotive / manufacturing domain (preferred)
