Job Summary

Job Title: Shopify Architect

Role Summary
Seeking a Shopify Architect to design and lead enterprise-grade Shopify solutions, with strong experience in migrating from headless platforms like commercetools or VTEX to Shopify-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable Shopify / Shopify Plus solutions
Lead platform migration from commercetools, VTEX, or other headless commerce platforms to Shopify
Define target-state architecture, integration patterns, and data migration strategy
Collaborate with business, UX, and engineering teams to deliver high-performance commerce solutions
Ensure best practices for performance, security, and extensibility
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus architecture
Proven experience in commerce platform migrations (commercetools / VTEX preferred)
Expertise in APIs, headless commerce concepts, and third-party integrations
Solid understanding of eCommerce domains: catalog, checkout, payments, OMS
Experience with cloud-native and modern frontend frameworks is a plus

Good to Have
Experience with Shopify Hydrogen / headless Shopify
Exposure to large-scale, global commerce implementations

Key Responsibilities

1. To design and architect large-scale solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
2. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
3. To continuously upskill with cutting-edge tech to deliver high-quality, future-proof solutions meeting client expectations and industry standards.
4. To leverage domain/tech expertise to gather client needs, deliver solutions, and craft a technology strategy aligned with business goals.
