Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS EG

 

GCP Data Engineer with SAS expertise to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in modern data engineering on GCP along with working knowledge of SAS for legacy analytics, reporting, or migration use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
  • Build and manage data solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Composer, Pub/Sub, and related GCP services
  • Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources
  • Work with business and analytics teams to understand reporting and data requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs, jobs, and datasets
  • Support migration of SAS workloads to GCP-based data platforms where applicable
  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization across pipelines
  • Implement orchestration and scheduling workflows for batch and near-real-time data processing
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and downstream consumers for reliable data delivery
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support for data platforms
