Role Overview

The Solution Architect is responsible for defining end-to-end technology solutions that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and industry best practices. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs and architecture blueprints.
• Drive architecture discussions, technology selection, and design decisions.
• Create high-level and low-level design documents, integration patterns, and data flow diagrams.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams during implementation.
• Review application architecture, code quality, and technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and governance processes.
• Support estimation, planning, risk assessment, and technical roadmaps.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in designing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and REST APIs.
• Understanding  of Pega is beneficial
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and messaging technologies.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of security, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or other architecture frameworks.
• Experience with API management platforms and enterprise integration tools.
• Cloud Architect or Solution Architect certifications.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
