Senior Technical Architect

Job Summary

10+ yrs experienced SAP SD Solution Architect to lead the functional design and implementation of customer e-invoicing solutions across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements and alignment with enterprise architecture guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand country-specific e-invoicing legal requirements and translate them into SAP functional designs and end-to-end solutions.

  • Define solution architecture using SAP IDoc, eDocument and SAP DRC (where applicable), aligned with enterprise integration standards such as SAP CPI, cB2B and eDMS.

  • Gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications for customer e-invoicing across SAP BP and P20, with potential scope for P10/S/4HANA.

  • Drive end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT), define test strategies and manage execution using HPQC.

  • Provide IT support during UAT, facilitate stakeholder workshops and coordinate with business, technical architects, integration teams and external partners.

  • Prepare cutover documentation, support go-live and post-go-live support (PGLS), and facilitate knowledge transfer to the AMS partner.

  • Maintain project documentation, progress reports and solution design deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP SD functional consulting experience, with strong knowledge of the Order-to-Cash process and customer invoicing.

  • Deep understanding of SAP Order Management, CSO/Invoicing, pricing, SD and customer master data.

  • Experience with complex invoicing scenarios, including down payments, retention and invoice structures.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP IDocs, eDocument framework and XML.

  • Experience with third-party integrations, EDI and B2B interfaces related to SAP SD.

  • Ability to execute end-to-end business scenarios in SAP during testing.

Good to Have

  • Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).

  • Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.

  • Experience with SAP CPI and enterprise integration landscapes.
