You Are: You are a practical process development and review specialist who can turn complex cybersecurity and regulatory expectations into clear, usable practices. You understand how semiconductor IP products are developed and can work across engineering, product, security, and business teams to understand current practices, identify gaps, and recommend realistic improvements. You are comfortable working in a contract role for a minimum of six months. You bring strong knowledge of the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), ISO/SAE 21434, and related cybersecurity regulations or standards. You are able to collect information from many stakeholders, assess the level of effort needed to adopt changes, and present findings in a clear, decision-ready format. You also help teams adopt new practices by creating practical guidance, gathering product-team information, and supporting follow-through. What You’ll Be Doing: • Develop, review, and improve cybersecurity-related processes for semiconductor IP technology development. • Work with product, engineering, security, and program teams to understand current practices, artifacts, ownership, and pain points. • Assess current practices against EU CRA expectations, ISO/SAE 21434, and other applicable cybersecurity regulations or standards. • Identify gaps, implementation effort, dependencies, and practical options for applying process changes across product teams. • Prepare clear findings, recommendations, and summaries for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. • Collect and organize information about product teams, including product families, current practices, key contacts, and adoption readiness. • Support adoption of new or updated practices through templates, checklists, working sessions, and follow-up with impacted teams. • Help translate regulatory and standards requirements into practical actions that teams can understand and apply. The Impact You Will Have: • Help Synopsys apply cybersecurity and regulatory expectations in a consistent, practical, and scalable way across IP product teams. • Give leaders a clearer view of current practices, gaps, effort, ownership, and adoption risks. • Reduce ambiguity for product teams by turning high-level requirements into usable process guidance. • Improve audit readiness and customer confidence by strengthening process discipline and evidence collection. • Support faster adoption of cybersecurity practices while minimizing disruption to engineering execution. • Contribute to a stronger cybersecurity operating model for IP products as regulatory expectations continue to grow.
