Job Summary

Lead the discovery and assessment of the web-services layer, build service and consumer inventories, map dependencies and data flows, design runtime instrumentation approaches, identify undocumented consumers, analyze Sybase-to-SQL Server transition impacts, lead AI-enabled integration discovery, ensure traceability of AI outputs, and deliver integration discovery artifacts and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead discovery and assessment of the web-services layer, including endpoints, contracts, versions, owners, and service-to-service relationships.
Build the web-services and consumer inventory covering legacy services (WCF, ASMX, Web API), consuming applications, service accounts, ETL, batch processes, reports, and file transfers.
Map upstream and downstream consumers, data flows, protocols, contracts, and dependency chains, including secondary dependencies.
Design and operate runtime instrumentation approaches, including wrappers, telemetry hooks, service traces, API-gateway log analysis, and consumer-behavior inference.
Identify hidden and undocumented consumers using logs, traces, and observability data.
Analyze the impact of Sybase-to-SQL Server transition on service contracts, connection strings, ODBC/JDBC drivers, and consumer applications.
Lead the technical design of AI-enabled integration discovery using custom agents within Fidelity's approved LLM environment.
Define auto-discovery and SME validation boundaries.
Own traceability between raw AI tool outputs and final integration recommendations.
Deliver integration inventory, consumer register, dependency maps, impact matrix, risk register, and remediation roadmap.

10+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture across APIs, web services, middleware, ETL, batch, and messaging platforms.
Hands-on experience with API gateways.
Hands-on experience with log and trace analysis.
Hands-on experience with consumer dependency mapping.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
