Job Summary

JD: JIRA Consultant – SAP S/4HANA Transformation (LAM / Semiconductor)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced JIRA Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program integrating SAP, MES, PLM, and related systems.
The consultant will be responsible for ensuring accurate program tracking, governance, and reporting in JIRA, acting as the single source of truth for requirements, build, testing (SIT/UAT), defects, and integration deliverables across multiple workstreams (R2R, P2F, S2S, O2C, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
JIRA Governance & Setup
•Configure and manage JIRA projects aligned to SAP delivery lifecycle (Design, Build, SIT, UAT, Cutover)
•Align JIRA structure with program governance, ensuring traceability across 
Board & Workflow Management
•Manage Scrum/Kanban boards across multiple SAP and integration workstreams
•Define and maintain workflows, statuses, and transitions (e.g., backlog → in progress → SIT → UAT → done)
Status Tracking & Data Integrity
•Enforce real-time updates of tickets, ownership, priorities, and dependencies
•Ensure JIRA reflects true program status for PMO, leadership, and SteerCo reporting
•Support tracking of risks, issues, and action items in alignment with program governance 
JQL, Reporting & Dashboards
•Develop advanced JQL queries to monitor KPIs
•Build dashboards for workstream leads, PMO, and executive stakeholders
Cross-System & PMO Integration
•Align JIRA with project plans, RAID logs, and governance reporting structures
•Support integration with tools such as ADO or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) where applicable
•Enable linkage between JIRA issues and deliverables across SAP, MES, and PLM
Must-Have Skills
•JIRA Expertise (Advanced)
oStrong experience in JIRA boards, workflows, issue configuration, and lifecycle management
oAdvanced JQL (JIRA Query Language) for reporting and program tracking
•SAP Program Exposure
oExperience supporting SAP S/4HANA or large ERP transformation programs
oUnderstanding of SIT, UAT, defect lifecycle, and RICEFW tracking
•PMO Governance & Tracking
oExperience supporting RAID tracking, status reporting, and executive dashboards
oStrong understanding of dependency and milestone tracking across workstreams
•Agile Delivery
oHands-on experience with Agile/Scrum (sprint planning, backlog, velocity tracking)
oAbility to manage multi-team, multi-workstream boards
•Data & Reporting
oExperience building dashboards and providing insights for leadership consumption
Nice-to-Have Skills
•Experience integrating JIRA with ADO, Confluence, or Power BI
•Exposure to SAP + MES + PLM integrated landscapes (Semiconductor preferred)

•Knowledge of Atlassian plugins, APIs, and automation rules
•Experience in large-scale global delivery (onshore/offshore coordination)

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
