Job Summary
An RCA Data Expert combines data analytics with problem-solving frameworks to understand why errors, anomalies, or escalations happen. Instead of just fixing surface-level issues, you find the root problem and design solutions to stop it from happening again.
Key Responsibilities
• Investigate Issues: Deep-dive into data logs, error rates, and ticket escalations to spot hidden patterns.
• Run Statistical Analysis: Use methods like Pareto analysis, regression, and correlation to interpret data trends.
• Build Dashboards: Create business intelligence (BI) reports and visual trackers to monitor system health in real-time.
• Design Fixes: Create corrective action plans, test solutions, and measure their success over time.
• Communicate Findings: Share clear, actionable insights with both technical and non-technical team members.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Tools: Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Data Visualization: Experience with BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for deeper data analysis is often preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Knowledge of root cause methods, Six Sigma, or structured investigative frameworks.
Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 3 to 5+ years of experience in data analysis or operations.
