Job Summary

Pod 4 — Connectivity — Lead
Pod / Track    Pod 4 — Connectivity
Role Title    Lead — Wireless Connectivity (WLAN / Bluetooth / GNSS)
Experience    8 – 10 years
Primary Location    Hyderabad, India (Transition phase); HCLTech Offshore Delivery Center thereafter
Work Model    Physical co-location at Hyderabad mandatory during Transition (Month 1–3) for knowledge transfer and hardware/lab access; delivery shifts to HCLTech's Offshore Delivery Center (ODC) from Shadow (Month 4–6) onward.
Role Summary
Own sustenance of wireless connectivity stacks — WLAN, Bluetooth, and GNSS — on IoT platforms (distinct from the wired Ethernet/Modem scope owned by Pod 7).
Key Responsibilities
•    Triage WLAN/Bluetooth/GNSS driver and firmware defects.
•    Coordinate radio co-existence tuning across simultaneous wireless stacks.
•    Validate against RF certification requirements ahead of customer release.
•    Sustain the connectivity HAL and middleware layers.
•    Support field escalations involving intermittent RF/connectivity behaviour and mentor the pod's Senior Engineer.
Must-Have Skills
•    8–10 years wireless connectivity embedded systems engineering.
•    WLAN/Bluetooth chipset driver stacks.
•    RF and radio co-existence tuning.
•    GNSS protocols.
•    Network protocol debugging tools.
Good-to-Have Skills
•    5G/cellular WWAN stack exposure.
•    Coexistence testing with RF lab instrumentation.
•    Matter/Thread or other IoT connectivity protocol experience.
•    GNSS assisted-positioning tuning.
