Job Summary

MDM Architect – Informatica / Reltio / Stibo

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MDM Architect with strong hands-on expertise in designing and delivering medium to large-scale, complex Master Data Management solutions for enterprise clients. The candidate should have deep experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio MDM, and/or Stibo MDM and be capable of leading MDM engagements from solution definition through implementation and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities

 

Architect, design, develop, and support enterprise MDM solutions using Informatica MDM, Reltio MDM, or Stibo MDM.Lead project teams across the complete MDM lifecycle including blueprinting, solution design, development, testing, go-live, rollout, and post-implementation support.Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements and define the overall MDM solution architecture.Design MDM data models across multiple subject areas and business domains.Provide estimates for end-to-end MDM implementation activities.Lead design, build, test, deployment, and integration activities across inbound and outbound applications.Define and implement data quality rules, matching/merging, stewardship, trust frameworks, data lineage, metadata/catalog, policies, and governance controls.Architect integration patterns between MDM platforms and enterprise applications/data platforms.Lead test planning, execution, defect resolution, and implementation readiness.Provide technical leadership in customer-facing discussions, architecture reviews, solution workshops, and pre-sales engagements.Drive Data Governance, Data Quality, Stewardship, and Access Management practices around enterprise MDM implementations.

Skill Requirements

  • 14+ years of overall experience in data management, architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise solutions.
  • Strong hands-on MDM architecture and implementation experience with one or more of:
    • Informatica MDM
    • Reltio MDM
    • Stibo Systems STEP / Stibo MDM
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts including data modeling, hierarchy management, match/merge, survivorship, golden records, data quality, stewardship, and governance.
  • 5+ years of experience in data ingestion, processing, ETL/integration, and enterprise data platforms.
  • 4+ years of customer-facing experience, including MDM solutioning, architecture workshops, or stakeholder management.
  • Experience integrating MDM platforms with upstream and downstream enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Quality rules, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, Data Governance, Policies, Stewardship, and Trust/Survivorship rules.
  • Strong experience designing MDM models for multiple subject areas such as Customer, Product, Supplier, Vendor, Party, or Location.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, customer-facing and pre-sales solution environments.

Platform-Specific Experience

Candidates should have strong expertise in at least one of the following:

Informatica MDM

  • Informatica MDM architecture, data modeling, configuration, integration, match/merge, survivorship, workflows, and Data Quality.
  • Exposure to application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, and/or JBoss.

Reltio MDM

  • Experience designing and implementing Reltio-based MDM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of entity modeling, relationships, match/merge, survivorship, data quality, APIs/integration, and stewardship within Reltio implementations.

Stibo MDM

  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise MDM solutions using Stibo Systems STEP.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, hierarchies, workflows, business rules, data quality, integrations, and governance within Stibo implementations.

Other Requirements

Preferred

  • Experience across more than one MDM platform, particularly Informatica + Reltio or Informatica + Stibo.
  • Experience with MDM modernization or migration from legacy/on-premises MDM platforms to cloud-based MDM solutions.
  • Exposure to cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience supporting MDM architecture during RFP/RFI, estimation, solutioning, and pre-sales activities
