Job Summary

To play a pivotal role in designing and implementing complex technical solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, CMDB, Asset and other enterprise solutions.
  • Define architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices aligned with CSDM and ServiceNow platform guidelines.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, solution designs, and technical documentation.
  • Partner with business leaders, architects, and technical teams to define platform roadmaps and long-term architectural direction.
  • Act as a trusted ServiceNow SME, advising on platform capabilities, automation opportunities, and architectural decisions.
  • Oversee configuration, customization, and development using both low-code (Flow Designer, ServiceNow Studio) and pro-code (JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS) approaches.
  • Design and develop custom applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and automation solutions.
  • Ensure all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
  • Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, and custom applications.
  • Utilize REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, JWT, MID Server, and messaging platforms such as Kafka for seamless data exchange.
  • Manage secure data access and integration between scoped applications and global database tables within ServiceNow.
  • Mentor and guide developers, enforce coding standards, and champion architectural best practices.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for: Data integrity and access control
  • Update sets, version control, and deployment processes
  • Ensure adherence to performance, scalability, and usability standards.
  • Evaluate and enhance platform performance, workflows, and data models.
  • Optimize CMDB quality, structure, and relationships in alignment with CSDM.
  • Implement best practices for platform health, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and feature enablement aligned with new releases.
  • Assess impact, plan remediation, and ensure smooth adoption of new capabilities.

Skill Requirements

  • Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, design, and configuration, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CMDB and Asset.
  • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions.
  • Extensive integration experience using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server, and enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CSDM, CMDB governance, and platform optimization.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and automation capabilities.
  • Deep knowledge of update sets, deployment processes, version control, and platform governance models.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
