Senior Technical Consultant - FEA Analysis

Job Summary

  • Seeking experienced CAE Modelers (Senior) with 2–6 years of experience in Automotive Safety CAE model building and integration.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in HyperMesh, ANSA, LS-DYNA, Teamcenter, and vehicle safety modeling, with hands-on experience in full vehicle assembly, subsystem integration, connection modeling, meshing, and model validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Include developing and integrating safety CAE models, performing CAD and BOM analysis, creating and validating vehicle connections, managing model quality in line with customer standards, supporting safety simulations, and delivering runnable models for crash and modal analysis.
  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of full vehicle safety model build processes, vehicle variant management, and automotive structural systems.

Skill Requirements

  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

•     2–6 years of experience in CAE Safety Model Build and Full Vehicle Integration

  • Strong hands-on experience in HyperMesh, ANSA, Primer, HyperCrash, HyperWorks, and LS-DYNA
  • Good knowledge of Teamcenter and 3DX for CAD review, change identification, and data management
  • Experience in full vehicle safety model building, assembly, and variant complexity management
  • Expertise in safety connection modeling (spot welds, seam welds, adhesives, bolts, joints, and analytical assemblies)
  • Proficiency in meshing sheet metal, plastic trims, and powertrain components as per safety standards
  • Experience in CAD studies, intersection checks, de-penetration, and model quality validation and ability to prepare and manage CAD, BOM, NGD inputs, and resolve model build queries
  • Knowledge of contact/interface definitions, database setup, and FE model integration
  • Experience in subsystem and full vehicle integration for frontal, side, and rear impact load cases
  • Understanding of Ford Safety Modeling Best Practices, Modassem methodology, and QOS processes
  • Experience in building automotive assemblies such as BIW, Closures, Seating, IP & Console, Engine, Exhaust, Driveline, and Transmission systems
  • Knowledge of Nastran/OptiStruct (SOL103, SOL111) for modal analysis is an added advantage
  • Ability to debug models and generate runnable solver decks

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate project progress, issues, and status updates to the team.
  • Positive attitude, strong team spirit, and collaborative work approach.
