Job Summary

Wacker is looking for a hands-on SAP Authorization Administrator (Cross-Application) to manage, support, and enhance enterprise-wide SAP authorizations. 
The job role ensures compliant, secure, and efficient SAP role development across SAP S/4HANA landscapes, including GxP-validated environments, while supporting production operations, enhancements, and advising SAP application teams.[RB1]Key Responsibilities:Manage SAP cross-application authorization processes across SAP systems, including design, build, and monitoringProvide end-to-end business support for SAP authorizations, incl. role issues and error handlingCoordinate and perform 2nd-level support for SAP Authorizations in SAP environment, incl. SAP FioriAnalyze, design, and harmonize rolesSupport SAP Fiori Launchpad authorization concepts including catalogs, groups, spaces, and pagesEnsure compliance with audit, guidelines and GxP requirements through proper role documentation and controlsSupport authorization role testing during implementations, upgrades, and release cyclesParticipate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and security-related enhancement initiativesCollaborate with Basis and application teams to ensure secure and scalable role designActive participation and involvement in SAP authorization centralization project Qualification:> 5 years of experience with role design and authorization concepts as part of SAP authorization management in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori environmentsExperience in customization, implementation, and auditing of SAP authorization rolesStrong troubleshooting skills for SAP authorization and access-related incidentsGood understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes based on ITILExperience working in GxP / GMP-regulated environments is desirableStrong collaboration skills with application teams and service providersProactive, independent working style with high attention to security and complianceVery good written and spoken English skills; German language skills are an advantageExperience in agile and classical project delivery modelsTeam player with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplinesAbility to quickly understand complex processes and issues, with strong communication skillsKnowledge and initial experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is desirableBehavioral & Professional CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and accuracyProactive communication and coordination skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work under SLA driven environmentsWillingness to learn and adapt to SAP updates and process changesTools & Systems ExperienceSAP ECC and S/4HANA systemsServiceNow (SNOW) for ticket tracking

Key Responsibilities

1. To analyze |define and design technical solution for ERP product’s enhancement and work towards continuous improvement during product implementation and production support stages.
2. To coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs and act as a primary point of contact for addressing complex technical issues.
3. To collaborate and interact with the client and other cross functional teams for gaining understanding of the requirements so as to deliver seamless technical solutions.
4. To anchor team meetings ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination within the technical consultant team and the clients.
5. To mentor and train junior consultants, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
