Senior Technical Consultant

Job Summary

Role Summary 

HCLTech is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Integration Consultant with 6–8 years of SAP implementation experience to support SAP S/4HANA transformation programs in the steel manufacturing industry. The role requires hands-on expertise in Greenfield and Brownfield implementations, SAP BTP Integration Suite, CPI, APIs, IDOCs, EDI, middleware technologies and integration of SAP and non-SAP business applications. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop and support enterprise integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA landscapes. 

  • Participate in Greenfield, Brownfield, rollout and migration projects. 

  • Develop integrations using SAP CPI, APIs, IDOCs, ALE, REST and SOAP services. 

  • Support integration between SAP modules including SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, EWM, TM, FICO and HCM. 

  • Integrate MES, LIMS, weighbridge, logistics, procurement and third-party manufacturing systems. 

  • Prepare functional and technical specifications and coordinate with cross-functional teams. 

  • Execute SIT, UAT, cutover and go-live support activities. 

  • Troubleshoot interface issues and ensure system performance and reliability. 

  • Follow SAP integration governance, security and development standards. 

  • Support stakeholders and mentor junior integration consultants. 

Required Technical Skills

  • Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP projects

  • Testing, cutover and hypercare support 

  • Production support and enhancements 

Education & Certifications 

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Technology or related discipline 

  • SAP CPI/BTP Certification preferred 

  • SAP Integration Suite certification desirable
