Job Summary
An SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management / Plant Maintenance) consultant or specialist designs, configures, and supports solutions to manage physical assets, equipment lifecycles, and maintenance operations. They optimize corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance processes in systems like SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration: Configure SAP PM/EAM modules, including technical objects, functional locations, equipment hierarchies, maintenance notifications, and work orders.
Process Optimization: Build strategies for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, task lists, and calibration management.
System Integration: Manage integration points between EAM and other core modules like MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Finance/Controlling), PP (Production Planning), and PS (Project Systems).
Project Lifecycle Execution: Gather client requirements, run design workshops, author functional specifications, execute testing (SIT/UAT), and provide post-go-live support.
Advanced & Mobile Solutions: Utilize SAP Fiori apps, SAP Asset Manager, or Intelligent Asset Management (IAM/AIN) tools.
Skill Requirements
Experience: 5 to 10+ years of functional experience in SAP EAM or Plant Maintenance (PM).
Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM configurations and business blueprint documentation.
Industry Background: Preferred domain familiarity in asset-heavy sectors like Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Public Sector.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, stakeholder management, and user-training capabilities.
