Job Summary

Seeking a skilled SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer with expertise in SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions, specifically SAP Extended Service Parts Planning (eSPP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, integrating, and supporting eSPP applications, reports, interfaces, and custom solutions that enable efficient spare parts forecasting, inventory optimization, and service supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities

 

Technical Architecture & Solution Design

  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants and architects.
  • Evaluate business requirements against SAP standard capabilities before proposing custom development.
  • Design upgrade-safe extension architectures aligned with Clean Core principles.
  • Recommend in-app extensibility, side-by-side extensibility, or API-based solutions as appropriate.
  • Participate in technical governance and architecture reviews.

Support integration with:

  • Legacy Enterprise Systems
  • Customer & Dealer Platforms
  • Warehouse Management Systems
  • Financial Applications
  • Tax Engines
  • Supply Chain & Planning Platforms
  • Compliance & Trade Systems
  • External Business Services

Engineering Excellence

  • Follow SAP Clean Core principles.
  • Perform code reviews and technical quality assessments.
  • Drive performance optimization and technical modernization.
  • Maintain reusable technical assets for future rollouts.
  • Ensure secure, maintainable, and supportable solution designs.

  • Data & Planning Support

    • Develop programs for:
      • Demand data extraction and transformation
      • Forecasting support
      • Inventory analysis
      • Planning master data maintenance
      • Batch processing and automation
    • Support planning runs and exception management.

    Technical Enhancements

    • Create custom Fiori applications and dashboards where required.
    • Develop CDS Views and HANA-based data models.
    • Optimize system performance and planning execution.
    • Implement user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and custom business logic.
