Senior Technical Lead - Rest, Jira, Windchill

Job Summary

This resource will build and manage a library of Rovo agents to automate high-volume admin tasks and enable end-user self-service. This is a specialist capability role requiring hands-on experience with Atlassian’s AI and automation tooling, including Rovo Studio, Jira Automation, and associated APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Design and build Rovo agents to automate repetitive and administrative tasks in the Jira estate.

- Develop end-user self-service agents that enable users to resolve common requests without requiring a support ticket.

- Define and maintain Rovo agent governance standards, including naming, testing, approval, and retirement lifecycle.

- Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across the Jira estate in collaboration with the GTS team.

- Maintain and iterate deployed agents as platform and business requirements evolve.

- Document all agents and maintain a centralized agent registry.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

 

- Hands-on experience with Atlassian Rovo, Rovo Studio, or equivalent AI agent development tooling.

- Strong Jira automation experience, including rules, triggers, conditions, and actions.

- Familiarity with REST APIs and webhook-based integrations.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify automation opportunities from ticket data and workflow patterns.

- Experience in agile delivery environments.

- Jira Cloud experience is preferred; Atlassian certifications are advantageous.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Atlassian, ROVO and Jira,would be a plus.
