Job Summary
Role : Supplier Quality
Location : India
Positions : 2 (different bands 12+ yrs experience – 1 and 6 to 8 years experience – 1)
Work Expectation
- Knowledge of supplier audit and qualification process
- Support Supplier Self Audit activities
- Follow up and guide suppliers of Self Audit process
- Measure supplier based on supplier self audit documentation
- Streamline any necessary documentation
- Root Cause Analysis expertise
- Good understanding of GD&T and associated metrology and measurement techniques
- Understanding of RCA methods and 7QC tools
- Hands on experience in metrology and understanding of part manufacturing processes, specifically machining and sheet metal
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the component cost estimation team in utilizing boothroyd and seer galorath methodologies.
2. Analyze and estimate costs associated with various components in a project to support decision-making and cost optimization.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for accurate cost estimations.
4. Develop and maintain cost estimation models and databases for future reference and analysis.
5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills in component cost estimation.
