Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in relevent field.
- Prior hands on experience in manufacturing (Machining, Sheet Metal. experience)
- Good knowledge of Should Costing Techniques and understanding of fundamentals like Raw Material Costing, Machine and Tool Selection, Cycle Time calculation, Burden Rate Estimate and knowledge of Secondary Processes
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or equivalent is a must
- Knowledge of cutting parameters and tools used as well good understanding of various sheet metal processes
- Knowledge on DFM is an added advantage
- Good communication skills
2. Analyze and estimate costs associated with various components in a project to support decision-making and cost optimization.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for accurate cost estimations.
4. Develop and maintain cost estimation models and databases for future reference and analysis.
5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills in component cost estimation.

1. Proficiency in component cost estimation methodologies, particularly boothroyd and apriori.
2. Strong analytical skills to accurately estimate costs and analyze cost data.
3. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and present cost estimation findings.
4. Leadership abilities to lead a team and provide guidance to junior members.
5. Problem-solving skills to identify cost optimization opportunities and drive efficiency in cost estimation processes.
Other Requirements
1.Certification in Component Cost Estimation methodologies is a plus.
