Senior Global Finance Process Owner (Commercial Finance) D365 Finance & Procurement Rollout
1. Background
Scania is implementing Microsoft D365 Finance & Procurement to establish harmonized, end‑to‑end commercial finance processes, a unified accounting model, and aligned master data across markets. The role supports the program by shaping the future global finance blueprint
Required Profile
Must‑Have Experience
Senior finance background (accounting/controller/finance lead).
Strong knowledge of CoA, posting logic, period close, reconciliations, and reporting.
Proven experience in process design and global harmonization.
Experience embedding internal controls into end‑to‑end processes.
Experience from large, multinational organizations
Highly Desirable
Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance.
Understanding of transition‑phase Dynamics touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
2. Conduct Comprehensive Code Reviews In D365 F&Scm X++, Ensuring Adherence To Established Quality Assurance Processes And Implementation Of Best Practices To Deliver High-Quality Solutions.
3. Ensure Process Compliance Within The Assigned Module By Participating In Technical Discussions And Providing Insights As A Technical Consultant During Feasibility Studies, Assessing Technical Alternatives, And Identifying Potential Risks.
4. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Define Project Scope, Objectives, And Deliverables; Prepare And Submit Status Reports To Minimize Exposure To Risks And Facilitate The Closure Of Escalations.
Skill Requirements
2. Strong Understanding Of Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc) Methodologies.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Performance Optimization Techniques And Quality Assurance Processes.
4. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Assess Technical Risks And Provide Solutions.
