Job Summary
HCLTech's Microsoft Business Applications Practice (MBAP) is seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central technical to join our growing and award-winning team. This role will be responsible for leading enterprise-scale data migration, data governance, data quality, and reporting initiatives for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and digital transformation programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in D365 BC customization, data management frameworks, integration patterns, and business process alignment.
The Business Central Technical will collaborate closely with solution architects, functional consultants, project managers, and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality enterprise data ERP solutions. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise in D365 Business Central, excellent communication skills, and experience leading distributed onshore/offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions using Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Development and Customization: Developing custom solutions and integrating them with existing systems using AL language, extensions, and APIs.
- Data Modeling and APIs: Skills in data modeling and API integration are necessary for creating robust and scalable solutions.
- Implementation: Leading the implementation process from a technical perspective, including data migration, technical configurations, customizations, and integration with other systems.
- Support and Maintenance: Providing ongoing technical support and maintenance for Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and assisting in user acceptance testing process to ensure the quality and functionality of the solutions.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including solution designs, technical design documents, technical configuration guides, and other technical documentation.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying up to date with the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 Business Central and identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancement.

- 10+ years of Microsoft D365 Business Central experience.
- Minimum 8 end-to-end D365 Business Central implementation projects preferred.
- Experience leading technical teams on enterprise ERP implementations.
- Experience working with global customers and distributed delivery teams.
- Proven experience in architecture design, integrations, development, and deployment management.
- Experience in upgrade projects from MS Dynamics Navision or legacy system to D365 Business Central is highly desirable.
