Job Summary

The Senior Technical Lead is responsible for leading and overseeing the development and testing of embedded software in adherence to DO 178B standards. This role involves ensuring functional testing is effectively conducted and the software meets quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the development and testing activities of embedded software projects
2. Ensure compliance with do 178b standards throughout the software development lifecycle
3. Plan and execute functional testing to verify software functionality
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure software quality and safety standards are met
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
6. Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
7. Participate in design reviews and provide inputs for continuous improvement

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in do 178b standards and guidelines
2. Strong programming skills in c++ for embedded software development
3. Experience in conducting functional testing for embedded software
4. Good understanding of software development lifecycle
5. Knowledge of software quality and safety standards
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
7. Excellent communication and leadership abilities
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
