Job Summary

Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer (Terraform & CI/CD)Location: Chennai / India (Hybrid / Remote options based on project)Experience: 5–10 yearsEmployment Type: Full TimeJob SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, who can design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure.The ideal candidate will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enable high‑velocity software delivery, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence across large-scale AWS environments.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & InfrastructureDesign, implement, and manage highly available and scalable AWS infrastructureProvision and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC) following best practicesManage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS/ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ELBImplement networking, security groups, IAM roles, and least‑privilege accessCI/CD & AutomationDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like:Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOpsAutomate build, test, and deployment workflowsEnable blue‑green, canary, and rolling deploymentsIntegrate CI/CD pipelines with IaC, container platforms, and security scansContainers & Platform EngineeringBuild and manage containerized workloads using DockerDeploy and manage applications on Kubernetes (EKS) or ECSImplement Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment strategiesSupport platform reliability, scalability, and observabilityReliability, Monitoring & SecurityImplement monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELKEnsure infrastructure security, compliance, and cost optimizationTroubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)Support SRE and DevSecOps practicesCollaboration & GovernanceWork closely with application, QA, security, and architecture teamsParticipate in architecture reviews and cloud modernization initiativesContribute to standards, best practices, and reusable automation assetsMentor junior engineers and promote DevOps cultureRequired Skills & ExperienceCore Technical Skills4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud & DevOps engineeringStrong expertise in Terraform (modules, state management, remote backend)Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelinesSolid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scriptingExperience with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS preferred)Strong knowledge of Git-based version controlAWS Services (Hands-on)EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDSEKS / ECSCloudWatch, ELB/ALBLambda (good to have)Good to HaveExperience with DevSecOps tools (Trivy, SonarQube, Snyk, Aqua, Prisma)Experience with Python or Go for automationKnowledge of cost optimization strategies (FinOps)Exposure to multi-account AWS setups and landing zonesAWS Certifications (Associate or Professional level)Soft SkillsStrong problem‑solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementOwnership mindset and ability to work in fast‑paced environmentsPassion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvementWhy Join Us?Work on large-scale, enterprise-grade cloud transform

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor technical teams in the development and implementation of devops practices using python and kubernetes.
2. Design and implement automated deployment pipelines to ensure quick and efficient delivery of software products.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure smooth deployment of applications.
4. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to devops tools and practices.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on best practices for devops, python, and kubernetes.
6. Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in devops, python, and kubernetes to enhance team capabilities.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in devops principles and practices.
2. Strong experience with python programming for automation tasks.
3. In-depth knowledge of kubernetes for container orchestration.
4. Familiarity with ci/cd tools for automated software delivery.
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
6. Strong leadership and communication abilities to mentor and guide team members effectively.
