Job Summary

This role is accountable for steering complex emulation projects by providing advanced proficiency in emulation technologies. The individual ensures project success through technical leadership, optimizing processes, and driving quality across development teams. They act as a technical consultant in evaluating architectural options, performance, and feasibility, while collaborating with stakeholders to align deliverables with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guide technical solutions and mentor team members in emulation tool usage such as Mentor Veloce and Synopsys ZeBu, improving developer efficiency and project outcomes.
2. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in emulation environments, leveraging scripting languages (TCL, Python), to maintain high-quality standards and maximize performance.
3. Oversee process compliance and participate in technical feasibility studies for emulation-based modules, using emulation platforms and methodologies to analyze technical risks and support architecture decisions.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, prepare status reports using project management tools, and assist in resolving technical escalations related to emulation solutions.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced proficiency in emulation platforms such as Mentor Veloce, Synopsys ZeBu, or Cadence Palladium.
2. Solid understanding of hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL) for emulation tasks.
3. Advanced skills in scripting languages (TCL, Python) for test automation and environment setup.
4. Experience in process compliance, quality assurance, and technical risk analysis within emulation projects.
5. Strong capability to prepare technical documentation and status reports using project management tools.

Other Requirements

1. Certifications such as Synopsys ZeBu Certification or Cadence Palladium Certification are optional but valuable.
