Job Summary
Multiple openings for CAE Analyst - I positions across Crashworthiness, Body Strength, Interior Trim, Structural Durability, Fatigue, and Brake NVH domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CAE simulations and analyses for vehicle crashworthiness, structural strength, durability, NVH, seating, and interior trim applications using tools such as LS-DYNA, Abaqus, Nastran, HyperMesh, and ANSA.
- Develop, prepare, and validate FE models, conduct safety and regulatory compliance assessments, investigate simulation results, identify root causes of performance issues, and recommend design improvements.
- Collaborate with design, testing, and customer teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, support product development activities, correlate simulation results with physical tests, and enhance analysis efficiency through process improvements and scripting where applicable.
Skill Requirements
- CAE Analyst should have 4–10 years of experience with strong expertise in CAE simulation and analysis using tools such as LS-DYNA, ANSA, HyperMesh, HyperWorks, Abaqus, Nastran, Primer, MetaPost, FEMFAT, NCode, and FE-Safe.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in crashworthiness, body and seat strength, durability, fatigue, NVH, brake analysis, and automotive interior trim simulations, along with knowledge of safety regulations including FMVSS, NCAP, and related standards.
- Proficiency in model preparation, meshing, connections, result interpretation, physical test correlation, and design validation is essential.
- Exposure to automotive product development processes, scripting skills (Python, TCL, Java, RRAD scripts), material modeling, and problem-solving capabilities are desirable.
- Able to work effectively with design teams to develop solutions within defined deadlines and time constraints.
Other Requirements
- Strong communication, customer interaction, task coordination, and the ability to provide practical engineering recommendations within project timelines are also required.
- Ability to effectively communicate project progress, issues, and status updates to the team.
