Job Summary
What we’re looking for…
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong focus on hands-on development
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 21+) with frameworks such as Spring Boot / Quarkus
- At least 2 years of relevant experience with functional programming, reactive architecture and non-blocking I/O
- Experience building microservices architectures and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, event-driven systems, and messaging (Kafka / MQ)
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices
- Good exposure to database technologies (PostgreSQL / NoSQL)
- Understanding of security best practices in backend systems (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS)
- Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
It would be great if you also had…
Experience working in blockchain / distributed ledger platforms (e.g., Canton)
Exposure to API management platforms (e.g., Apigee)
Familiarity with resilience patterns (circuit breaker, bulkhead, retry mechanisms)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) or automation tooling
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC
Experience in regulated environments with compliance and audit awareness
Key Responsibilities
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver projects within scope and timeline.
3. Mentor team members on best practices in java, microservices, and react development.
4. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in java, microservices, and react applications.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend enhancements and improvements.

4. Solid understanding of restful apis and web services.
5. Experience with containerization technologies such as docker and kubernetes.
