Senior Technical Lead - Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB

Job Summary

Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud Technologies, and API Development to support strategic Banking and Payments modernization initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications supporting Commercial Banking, Payments, Treasury, and Digital Banking platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka, MQ, or messaging frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile delivery.
  • Modernize legacy banking applications to cloud-native architectures.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and production support activities.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.

Skill Requirements

 

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • Java 8/11/17
    • Spring Boot
    • Spring MVC
    • Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
    • Microservices Architecture
    • REST APIs
    • SQL
  • Experience with:
    • Kafka / MQ
    • Docker & Kubernetes
    • Azure or AWS Cloud
    • Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps
    • Git and CI/CD practices

Minimum Salary (US):  108000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
