Senior Technical Lead - MES Domain Specialization

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative UI Developer to design and develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications for a leading semiconductor manufacturing customer. The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, UX designers, MES engineers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to create intuitive user interfaces that support wafer fabrication, assembly, testing, quality management, production monitoring, and manufacturing analytics.

The role requires strong expertise in front-end development technologies, UI/UX best practices, data visualization, and integration with enterprise manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP, SCADA, and Industry 4.0 platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive web-based user interfaces for semiconductor manufacturing applications.
  • Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance front-end components.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and backend developers to translate requirements into intuitive UI solutions.
  • Develop dashboards and visualization components for manufacturing KPIs, yield analysis, equipment monitoring, and production tracking.
  • Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, and enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  • Optimize UI performance for real-time and high-volume manufacturing data.
  • Participate in UI/UX design discussions and contribute to user-centered design practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and follow front-end development standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements based on user feedback.
  • Support Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.

Skill Requirements

Front-End Technologies

  • HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS / LESS, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

Frameworks & Libraries

  • React.js / Vue.js, RxJS, Bootstrap / Material UI / Tailwind CSS

Data Visualization

  • D3.js, Highcharts, Chart.js, ECharts and Power BI Embedded (preferred)

API & Integration

  • REST API Integration, GraphQL, JSON/XML Processing and OAuth / SSO Authentication

Development Tools

  • Visual Studio Code, Git / GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines and Docker (basic understanding)

Testing

  • Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress and Playwright

 

Semiconductor Domain Responsibilities

  • Develop user interfaces supporting MES-driven manufacturing workflows.
  • Create dashboards for:
    • Wafer Tracking, Lot Management, Equipment Status Monitoring, Yield Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Management, Production Scheduling.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to understand fab operations and business processes.
  • Display real-time production and equipment data through intuitive dashboards and analytics views.
  • Ensure usability in cleanroom and manufacturing operations environments.

Preferred Domain Knowledge

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Semiconductor Manufacturing, Wafer Fabrication (FAB), Assembly & Test Operations, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Factory Automation, Industry 4.0 Initiatives, Smart Manufacturing, Yield Management Systems, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Equipment Integration (SECS/GEM)
