Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications.
- Develop new UI features and enhance existing functionalities for Android-based systems.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, testers, and stakeholders.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern Android development practices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Analyze and resolve defects, performance issues, and stability concerns.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with customer teams.
- Support integration activities and troubleshooting across software components.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Android Application Development.
- Automotive HMI development experience.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and/or Android XML UI development.
- Strong understanding of Android Architecture Components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
- Knowledge of REST API integration.
- Understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Automotive Infotainment Systems.
- Knowledge of CAN, Vehicle HAL (VHAL), and Automotive Services.
- Exposure to Automotive UX guidelines and infotainment platforms.
- Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
