Senior Technical Lead - Native Mobile App(Android)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications.
  • Develop new UI features and enhance existing functionalities for Android-based systems.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, testers, and stakeholders.
  • Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern Android development practices.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Analyze and resolve defects, performance issues, and stability concerns.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with customer teams.
  • Support integration activities and troubleshooting across software components.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Android Application Development.
  • Automotive HMI development experience.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and/or Android XML UI development.
  • Strong understanding of Android Architecture Components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
  • Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
  • Knowledge of REST API integration.
  • Understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Automotive Infotainment Systems.
  • Knowledge of CAN, Vehicle HAL (VHAL), and Automotive Services.
  • Exposure to Automotive UX guidelines and infotainment platforms.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Technical Guidance And Mentorship To A Team Of Developers In Native Mobile App Development Using Java And Kotlin, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Productivity.
2. Conduct Comprehensive Code Reviews And Establish Rigorous Quality Assurance Processes, Ensuring Performance Optimization And Adherence To Best Practices And Coding Standards For Successful Project Delivery.
3. Ensure Compliance With Processes In The Assigned Module, Participating In Technical Discussions And Reviews As A Consultant For Feasibility Studies, Evaluating Technical Alternatives, And Assessing Technical Risks.
4. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Define Project Scope, Objectives, And Deliverables, While Preparing And Submitting Status Reports To Minimize Exposure And Facilitate Closure Of Escalations.

2. Strong Understanding Of Mobile Application Architecture And Design Principles.
