Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Documaker Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise document generation solutions using the OpenText/Documaker platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in document composition, template development, batch processing, and integration with enterprise applications to support business-critical customer communications.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain document generation solutions using OpenText Documaker.
  • Design, create, and modify document templates, forms, correspondence, policies, statements, and customer communications.
  • Develop and support Documaker components including:
    • DAP (Documaker Administrator)
    • DAL (Documaker Automation Language)
    • DCF
    • DMR
    • Docupresentment
    • Table and Form Set configurations
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into document composition solutions.
  • Integrate Documaker with core business applications, databases, and web services.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Optimize document generation performance and batch processing.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and project stakeholders.

 

Skill Requirements

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Documaker platform.
  • Experience in:
    • Documaker Studio
    • DAP
    • DAL scripting
    • Forms and Transaction Set development
    • Batch processing
    • Docupresentment
  • Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, and document composition technologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Experience with Web Services, REST APIs, and integrations.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services domains.
  • Knowledge of customer communication management (CCM) solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based deployments and modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Java, .NET, or other enterprise technologies.
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in python, PL/SQL, or Java are a plus.
