Job Summary

The Senior Technical Lead for Windchill is a pivotal role responsible for managing technology in complex projects within the Development work area. This role emphasizes providing expert technical guidance to developers, ensuring successful delivery of innovative solutions that align with the organization's objectives. The Senior Technical Lead will also drive best practices and quality assurance processes, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management of divestiture initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets specific to divestiture activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including legal, finance, operations, HR, IT, and external consultants/advisors.
• Manage due diligence processes, data room preparation, and information requests.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to divestiture transactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate integration or separation activities post-divestiture.
• Drive continuous improvement in divestiture project methodologies and tools.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (PMP, PMI-ACP) preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) managing divestiture or M&A-related projects.
• Strong understanding of divestiture processes, including legal, financial, and operational considerations.
• Excellent project management skills with proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience in animal health BIO/Pharma.

·       Familiarity with regulatory environments relevant to divestitures.

·       Team management

·       Change management experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Technical Guidance To A Team Of Developers By Facilitating Knowledge Sharing Sessions On Windchill Functionalities And Capabilities, Ultimately Enhancing Their Technical Skills And Increasing Productivity.
2. Conduct Comprehensive Code Reviews For Windchill Customizations, Establishing And Overseeing Quality Assurance Processes, Optimizing Performance, And Implementing Best Practices To Ensure Successful Delivery Of Complex Projects.
3. Ensure Compliance With Defined Processes In The Windchill Module, Actively Participating In Technical Discussions And Reviews As A Consultant For Feasibility Studies, Assessing Technical Alternatives, Supporting Architecture Best Practices, Managing Technical Risks, And Assisting In Project Estimations.
4. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Define Project Scope, Objectives, And Deliverables Related To Windchill Implementations, Preparing And Submitting Status Reports To Minimize Exposure To Risks And Facilitate Timely Closure Of Escalations.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Windchill, With A Strong Understanding Of Its Architecture And Functionalities.
2. Solid Experience In Change Management Processes Within Plm Environments.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Design Verification And Validation Practices In Relation To Windchill.
4. Familiarity With Sap Integration Within Plm Solutions Is Desirable.
5. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Assess And Mitigate Technical Risks Effectively.

Other Requirements

1. Relevant Certifications In Windchill Or Plm Technologies Are Optional But Valuable.
2. Certification In Change Management Methodologies Is Recommended.
