Job Summary
• Factory Automation (Mid-Level) – 1x –
8+ Years Experience
o Design and implementation of factory automation and manufacturing control systems
o Experience integrating equipment-level control with factory systems (MES / host interfaces)
o Knowledge of industrial automation protocols and interfaces (SECS/GEM, etc.)
o Coordination of tool automation states, handshaking, and interlocks
o Integration of material handling systems (robots, conveyors, load ports, AMHS hooks)
o Development of automation workflows for lot movement, recipe execution, and status reporting
o Debugging and root cause analysis of factory–equipment interaction issues
o Support of factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site integration
o Collaboration with controls, software, and manufacturing teams to define automation requirements
o Validation of automation behavior under factory and high volume manufacturing conditions
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s in software engineering, Computer Science or related
Key Responsibilities
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
