Job Summary

Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on expertise on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in UI Development(using UI Builder/Seismic), Scripting, Rest Integration, with added advantage if certified application developer and experienced in NowAssist and AgenticAI implementations. 

Key Responsibilities  • Design, develop and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs. • Utilize UI Builder and Lit web components to develop and configure modern, scalable user interfaces. 
• Build and maintain Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Integration APIs. 
• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and Business stakeholders to clarify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Explore and implement NowAssist and AgentAI capabilities to improve automation, intelligence, and customer experience. 
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, performance optimization, and platform best practices. 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within ServiceNow applications. 

Required Qualifications  
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform. 
• Strong expertise in UI development using web components with Seismic(UIB)/Lit frameworks
• Proficiency in ServiceNow Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for ServiceNow customizations. 
• Experience in ACL, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and Reporting/Dashboards. 
• Ability to work in Agile / Scrum methodology. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)• Certified System Administrator (CSA). 
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)  
• Exposure to NowAssist (GenAI features) and AgenticAI solutions. 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
