As a Data Migration Lead specializing in SAP MDG, you will oversee the end-to-end data migration process, ensuring the seamless transfer of master and transactional data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, develop migration strategies, and ensure data quality and governance standards are met.Key Responsibilities•       Data Migration Strategy & Planningo   Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.o   Define data mapping rules, transformation logic, and validation criteria to ensure accurate data migration.o   Establish timelines, milestones, and resource plans for migration activities.•       Data Quality & Governanceo   Collaborate with data stewards to assess data quality and implement cleansing measures.o   Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards throughout the migration process.o   Conduct data validation and reconciliation to verify data integrity post-migration.•       Stakeholder Collaboration & Communicationo   Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather data requirements and address migration challenges.o   Provide regular updates to stakeholders on migration progress, risks, and issues.o   Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate users on new data structures and governance practices.•       Technical Leadership & Executiono   Lead the technical execution of data migration activities, utilizing tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT), and SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC).o   Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.o   Document migration processes, methodologies, and lessons learned for future reference.•       Post-Migration Supporto   Provide support during the cutover phase and post-go-live hyper care period.o   Monitor data performance and address any issues related to data quality or system integration.o   Assist in the development of ongoing data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity.Qualifications•       Experience:o   Minimum of 10 years of experience in data migration, with at least 3 years focusing on SAP MDG implementations.o   Proven experience in managing data migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.o   Hands-on experience with SAP MDG modules and integration with other SAP systems.•       Technical Skills:o   Proficiency in SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP SLT, SAP DMC, and other relevant data migration tools.o   Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.o   Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data validation techniques.•       Soft Skills:o   Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.o   Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.o   Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
