Job Summary

Job Title: Stibo STEP PIM Developer cum TesterExperience Level: 4–6 YearsJob Type: Full-timePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and versatile Stibo STEP PIM Developer cum Tester with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience to join our Master Data Management (MDM) / Product Information Management (PIM) team. In this dual-faceted role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and extending the Stibo STEP platform, while simultaneously leading the end-to-end testing strategy to ensure seamless integration, high data quality, and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities1. Development & ConfigurationData Modelling: Design, maintain, and configure complex Stibo STEP data models, including product hierarchies, classifications, entities, attributes, Lovs (List of Values), and object types. Workflows & Business Rules: Create and optimize STEP workflows, lifecycles, and state management. Write efficient JavaScript business rules/validation rules. Integration: Develop and maintain data integration pipelines (inbound/outbound) utilizing REST APIs, STEP XML, JSON, CSV formats, and message queuesUI Configuration: Set up and maintain STEP Web UI components, advanced search screens, and assign user roles/permissions. Upgrades & Maintenance: Assist in platform version upgrades and troubleshoot complex production issues or system bugs. Data Management & Governance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance and perform data migration, enrichment, and validation activities2. Quality Assurance & TestingTest Planning & Strategy: Author comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and business requirements.Execution: Conduct end-to-end functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support for all Stibo implementations.Data Validation: Ensure data integrity by validating data migrations, asset matching, import/export mappings, and publication syndication streams.Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test system defects using project management tools like JiraAutomation (Plus): Explore and implement automated testing approaches for data ingestion, Web UI interactions, or API endpoints.Required Technical Skills & QualificationsExperience: 4 to 6 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to Stibo STEP PIM / MDM platform.Stibo Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of STEP architecture, Advanced Workflow, STEP Web UI, Integration Endpoints (IIEP/OIEP), and Business Rules.Languages & Formats: Proficiency in JavaScript (for STEP business rules), XML, JSON, and fundamental SQL query building.Testing Tooling: Experience with defect tracking and test management systemsAPI Testing: Hands-on experience testing REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Desirable Skills (Good to Have)Stibo STEP Academy CertificationBasic Java knowledge for custom plug-in understanding.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.Exposure to test automation tools
